Making a pinned tweet since I should probably have made this official long ago:
Hi! I’m really not here anymore. I haven’t deleted the account yet since it’s occasionally useful, but I don’t check Twitter hardly ever. You can find me on Tumblr at pieheda. ❤️
@IfBooksPod Seriously. Look in any liberal online space where they’re gleefully dunking on how dumb conservatives are. You’ll see a ton of memes without a MAGA hat in sight, where the entire joke is “a picture of a person who is clearly poor and rural.”
@RepJimBanks I’m not sure if your message here is “don’t complain about your taxes paying for someone else’s education, they already pay for that in military spending” or “how will we get young people to needlessly risk their lives if we can’t bribe them”, can you clarify?
Climbing out of twitter silence to say I learned Anne Rice died thanks to a post dunking on Stephanie Meyer‘s inferiority to Rice. Proving that a successful woman can’t even die without being compared to other successful women.
@jediscum83 To be clear, I don’t disagree with her that some things are off about the sequels. But “we don’t know how she got Jedi powers” makes no sense. This means that any Jedi that isn’t a Skywalker makes no sense, since we don’t know where they got their powers from.
@jediscum83 So possible explanations are:
1. a Jedi breeding program that we’ve never heard of (gross)
2. Jedi having children in the same way that Anakin did, but parents keeping them secret after Vader slaughtered them all (very plausible)
3. Anyone could be Force sensitive (why not?)
@getmenewhouse This (and other credit/compensation noted in this thread) absolutely counts, UNLESS you’re suffering from the Reverse Halo Effect and therefore desperately need to call out and cancel any behavior that you view as less than perfect. 🙄
@Melethonomia I was a bit nervous about it. Now that I’m here, I’m heartened by how practically everyone is following the masking rules. But also yeah, I could use some luck probably.
