Uma Musume Experimental Infusion Stim mod for Helldivers 2 has been removed from NexusMods.

The mod is back up and republished on AyakaMods right now!

This keeps getting worse. More mods have been mass-deleted at Helldivers 2. Mods on NexusMods are out of control, more than 8 modders have already moved their entire work over to AyakaMods.

NexusMods is no longer a safe place for modders. If you make or use Helldivers 2 mods, you already know where this is heading.

In June 2025, Robin "DarkOne", the owner who built NexusMods from scratch in 2001, sold the site after more than 24 years, citing burnout and health issues.

The new owners? A company called Chosen, a startup assistance firm that didn't even name itself in the announcement. The community had to dig them up.

Fast forward to 2026: K^5 banned. Eraviel banned. Both for anime mods in an M-rated game. No warnings.

This is what new ownership looks like in practice.

NexusMods Staff claimed that the mod was NSFW, then they hid the reason completely and ignored the author when he contacted staff without answering.

AyakaMods site is 100% back again and loading faster than ever.

What happened? Our servers hit a bottleneck due to a massive Layer 7 botnet attack. Thousands of automated scrapers were spamming our database search filters, which completely locked up our processor cycles and caused the site to lag.

We have deployed enhanced Cloudflare mitigation shields and cleared the server queues. The bots are now being dropped at the network edge, and site performance is completely back to normal and the issue.
