@daniel_graves Sort of like 3teeth's cover of Foster's pumped up kicks. The original was jaunty and subversive with much darker lyrics riding in the background. Their cover brought them front and center along with a much darker mood that I think fit a bit better.

Combined with most governments failures to equitably distribute resources. The consolidation of ownership/wealth, and the worship of the wealthy. You get resurging global fascism.

@DarkSoulNight People have called me things all my life. But they've never defined me. I always choose for myself who I'm going to be. Anyone saying that someone else calling them something drove them to become that thing. Is simply making excuses/justifying and not being honest with themselves

@Politigoth As a socialist in Missouri. Seeing their reactions when they call everything they're told they don't like communism or socialism. And I just say "I wish". Is usually good for a chuckle. Though actually trying to explain what it actually is to them. Only makes them dig in.

@Politigoth Rumors of my demise have been exaggerated. ;) I'm still very much undead, spending most my time 6' under these days. Normally twitter is kind of useless to the point I tend to get notifications a week or more after a post was made. I probably need to change a setting somewhere.

@RazorsEdgeRaz @Politigoth The concept isn't a bad one. The bigger issue is that LL still doesn't support textures over 1024. Still, to this day. It can still make the beefiest modern systems chug. But still can't take advantage of the increased VRAM we've gotten since 2009.

@Politigoth @RazorsEdgeRaz The crazy thing is. LL sold off their SL replacement. And now they're back to not really fixing SL. Heh space and VR chat might lag with enough complexity in view etc. But only with SL can you just feel people entering and leaving a sim without seeing them.
