I don't want to be controversial but I think Joon and Hobi had the most creative and bold solo projects in Ch. 2. I wondered how that would manifest with Bangtan back together especially since recent music hadn't given them a ton of time to flex and create. You can really tell they came into the studio confident in their artistry and vision and carved out their own space and sound in the album. And good on them. Those are our leaders, largely responsible for BTS' musical direction and performance, respectively. I feel all seven all over ARIRANG and I think they all have their own shine and distinction--this is an album that could only have happened with each of their talents and artistry. But I really do feel NamSeok's minds and souls at the core of this project. And I think that'll be reinforced when we see the live stages, too.
asking minorities to perform their culture in stereotypes for u so that u can feel like ur watching a show as an outsider is #odd whenever cultural discourse happens from people not a part of the culture it’s just a bit silly
hate tweets not moving me at all like this is cocaine crushed and uploaded on a fourteen track music file and you want me to care about what people who unironically listen to lo-fi blender beats have to say
Speaking honestly and truly, arirang is bts’ most cohesive and well produced album thus far. Like don’t get me wrong I LOVE all their albums but this one is just so polished and has literally no low points whatsoever
honestly i’m personally so happy with this album that i don’t care about the long ass discourses on the tl about whatever people think is wrong with it. i reconnected with my favorite boyband i’ve been stanning for almost ten years and it’s all i’m thinking about.
j-hope managed to have a different delivery on 13 songs on ARIRANG while having the busiest year of his solo career and u wanna tell me this man isnt the epitome of perfect artist? mad respect
i’m sorry but i genuinely cannot be humble about this album at all… this is exactly why no one is on bts level every single song just keeps getting better than the last. I fucking love you BTS
i’ve been an army since 2017 and i’ve never been so shocked by a bts album like i genuinely cannot believe they’ve managed to take their music to an entirely new level THIS IS INSANITY

I just finished ARIRANG and I don't mean this lightly, but I think that BTS have a Grammy album right now. The production on this album is flawless. There is not a single miss. I hope they are proud of what they've put out into the world because this album is perfection.
arirang is proof that the hiatus was needed music wise like they needed time to venture out and explore different genres because what i’m hearing rn…amazing
my first, messy impressions of arirang: this feels like a real statement album, a redefinition of who bangtan is nearly thirteen years into their career. it’s an abandonment of their comfort zone, an invitation for army to abandon theirs. 1/x
ARIRANG is a WORK OF ART <3 That is all. Just ART. I hear their solo influence so strongly in so many beautiful ways like I can't even EXPLAIN I just love it so much
