@JoeTalkShow I feel like you could have easily pointed to your Nov 16th post to clarify. You talk about many of the influencers that were united a few years ago and the outside influence on MAGA. I don't think the individuals were never nearly as aligned as you proposed.

@ShitpostRock2 Even for someone trying to promote that position that's just word vomit. Screams "the reader is stupid and must be slapped in the face with the idea".
"the AI tool [developed by IOPP (Institute of Physics Publishing)] identified nearly 2,500 reports that had at least 60% overlap with former reviewer reports, of which 785 reports had at least 80% overlap.
Of the flagged cases, 89 were exact duplicates..
Two studies..discovered hundreds of reviews for manuscripts across different publishers that seem to have been copied from a template.
These reports, for example, contained similar wording or identical typos, and commonly included citations of the reviewersβ own papers..
the publisher PLOS..has so far retracted 40 articles and flagged 55 others with Editorial Notes or Expressions of Concern [partly because of] concerns about peer-review reuse or similarities..
what has been reported publicly is only the tip of a very large iceberg.."
An additional system of World Reviewer Ranking (e.g., 'r-index') may be necessary.

@MadamSavvy I went looking for those and it looks like there are actually categories for them; but why do I have to go through Livestream Categories to reach the videos tab? Categories should be front page. UX and messaging really just push that livestream current thing image.
@nekaishi X should move their streaming off of this site to a Twitch competitor while rolling in inspirations from YT and let people build playlists of vods from multiple streamers. Link to X to aggregate media on both sites so people could post long form on X but view it on either site.
@niamhvt I'd say a good amount of it is little things building up since last year have come to a head over redline political fall outs. Amped up by cliques reinforcing ingroup beliefs and conspiracies reinforcing outgroup biases. Probably some mix of bad actors fanning the flames also.
@DataRepublican@Dawnmo777 From a macro perspective she just looks like a low trust high charisma host; no alliance to a political group because the worldview says those are facades. Conspiracy groups enhanced by the internet instead of radio; allies in distrust and coverups more than structure and growth.
@DataRepublican The problem I have there are good points about the average person and keeping the populace divided with propaganda. But I also already don't trust Ian and wouldn't be surprised if rather than finding ways of uniting people he reached out to Harry or similar.
@AI_EmeraldApple@MadamSavvy Be careful what you put into online models. It's very likely that certain content is coded for recognition and to report on your account; presumably for folks that are trying to get that content generated rather than research, but it is something to be cautious of.
@SmugAlana@LizzieMarbach It's both ragebait and ingroup signaling. They get engagement from the people that disagree and collect the purists that have proper "adult hobbies" together.
@MadamSavvy Seems like this one bamboozled a few people who promoted/endorsed it based on the studio not the film. Too bad some people can't handle that mistake with more grace.
@MentisWave It would be nice if they did anything to signal they understand the harm it's doing to real creators. They're making the inability to enforce rigor with the Ai moderation appear to be a feature not a bug with their silence.
@SomeBitchIIKnow For the sake of the steelman: colleges did historically also attempt to train particular behaviors and standards to separate the in crowd from the out. I can't imagine the pedigree element is entirely removed from the minds of college administrators.
@SomeBitchIIKnow I was going to defend it then I remembered other claims by the people I know who play it. I'll just hold my tongue and let you bear that banner.
