The list gap no one is talking about at Collingwood is (it's not a key defender)...

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Pies take Sam Gayfer with Pick 9 (turns into 12/13 after comp and bids)?

[AFL @AFL]

Collingwood will retain backline coach Jordan Roughead amid strong interest from Carlton, @JoshGabelich reports.

The Daicos family story is one of sporting triumph but started tragically. Nick’s Great Grandfather died on the ship from Greece to Melbourne. At 15 Nick’s Grandfather came here alone . Now the family boasts 3 @AFL premierships medals and a Brownlow..and probably more to come.

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

21 Pies players out of contract in 2027 - that's 56% of our entire list. 36% is current AFL average for OOC players in 2027. Whole team is about to have a Jake Stringer contract year!

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Brayden Maynard (246 games) has the SAME amount of votes as John Anthony (43 games). Love JA for the Adelaide legacy game but can we just call this the ‘Midfielders Medal’ and add a medal that recognises the BEST individual defender in the league.

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

The Nick Daicos Brownlow stat nobody is talking about...

Nick is just FOUR votes would move him past Steele Sidebottom into Collingwood’s all-time top five, and 41 votes would take him past Len Thompson into FOURTH.

Could Nick be fourth by the end of tonight?

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Reminds me of an Ollie Henry type

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Wil Malady has erupted in the CTL grand final for Gippsland Power - 3 goals in as many minutes! Another player alongside Gayfer who falls around the Pies first pick in this years draft.

[Rick Edwards @BomberRicko]

What a shame the biggest game in the @TalentLeague season - the Grand Final - is not on television.

This is the number one pathway for recruits to get on an AFL list.

Yet we never get games on TV, never get player highlights (unless done by people like me), and instead get a livestream which has been known to cut out and rarely has commentary.

The @AFL needs to do better.

I'd even explore a Crisp (Played there in '23), R.Steele, Lipinski on half back flank before giving up picks for a Short.

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Fly has spoken with Short per Cal Twomey - Personally, I am not giving up anything more than a FUTURE 2nd. Understand it gives flexibility with Jaicos magnet. Much prefer picking a mid in the draft to learn their craft there like Swadling and Naicos in the past.

@piesman2010 Nice! Where did I miss this?

[Pies Footy @PiesFooty]

Swadling remains unsigned beyond 2027 and with Tassie around the corner - I am certain they would be silly not to enquire and use their 1 player per club concession on Swadling at the end of next year. Swad must sign this off-season.
