@HockeyLW17@practicalgolf A “feel” I like to do before swinging is tucking my right elbow (left if left handed swing) in and pretending to hold a tray like a waiter while doing small swing movements.
@DieLigt (Sorry, I just finished watching the episode myself and I am in this state of like “oh my god I need to hear what everyone smart thinks of this because I know I just watched something so brilliant in concept and performance but my words are too infinitely inept to describe.”)
@LouStagner Yeah, my thought when I saw this was, “if Twitter golf reflects real life at all, why is every round I play so slow??”
The reality is, I play a lot alone, so I’m matched with a lot of strangers; the majority of who are lovely, but the majority of who are also slow players.
@devincf Beautiful Devin.
I’ve been following you for years, your ups and downs, highs and lows, and always respected your writer’s mind greatly.
This article combines your writer’s mind and the human condition so poetically.
Yeah, I was bawling by the end, like everyone else.
@PalsJfx96216 @LouStagner You should definitely give it a go! I’ve seen a healthy 90 yr old on the course, and many men in their 70’s and 80’s play—you’re still young!
@HarryDisaOG@kmgunder@LouStagner I disagree pretty strongly; do a little googling, and I think you will find that workability/shot shaping and feedback are by far the greater reasons for using blades over distance regulation.
But, I’m pretty sure we can just end this at “agree to disagree”, & I’m fine w/ that.
