being neurodivergent means i will explain something in five different ways because i desperately want to communicate clearly, and then immediately panic that i’ve explained it too much and somehow made everything more confusing. first i’m worried you misunderstood me. then i’m worried my explanation annoyed you. then i’m worried i over-explained and made you misunderstand me even more. communication is apparently a full-time job.
The right person won’t make you question where you stand in their life.
You won’t have to beg for communication, consistency, effort, or basic respect.
When someone genuinely values you, you’ll feel it in their actions—not just in their words.
Love should bring peace, not constant confusion.

You can’t keep expecting more from someone who has repeatedly shown you that they don’t care enough to give you what you need or deserve. Stop giving endless chances, only to get disappointed again. Their actions already told you everything you needed to know.
i have such a soft spot for women other women love but men absolutely cannot stand. the ones who are incredibly sweet to their girls but become completely unfiltered when someone crosses a line. loud women. angry women. difficult women. women who refuse to make themselves smaller just to be considered pleasant.
the moment men stop calling you “cool” and start calling you a bitch because you won’t cooperate with their expectations, you know you’ve stopped performing for them.

I’m mature enough to admit that I wasn’t perfect either. I made mistakes, said things when I was angry, and had moments I wish I handled differently. I can take responsibility for the ways I hurt you without pretending that everything you did was okay. My mistakes don’t erase the things that hurt me, and your actions don’t erase mine. Both things can be true. I can acknowledge where I was wrong while still recognizing that I deserved honesty, respect, and genuine care.
My revenge isn’t hurting you or trying to prove that you lost me. It’s simply choosing to move forward without carrying the same drama with me. I don’t need to argue, explain myself endlessly, or look for ways to get even. Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is quietly step away, protect your peace, and stop giving access to someone who no longer deserves it. I’m choosing distance over resentment and peace over proving a point. That’s my closure.
I’m someone who stays. When I care about someone, I don’t walk away the moment things become difficult. I believe relationships take patience, honest conversations, forgiveness, and effort. There will be disagreements and days when everything feels harder than it should, but I believe the difficult moments can show how much people truly mean to each other. I don’t give up easily on the people I love. When someone matters to me, I want to keep choosing them and trying to make things work.
one of the most heartbreaking parts of autistic and adhd masking is learning to distrust your own happiness. you get so used to being told that your excitement is excessive, your reactions are too much, or your enthusiasm is socially inappropriate that eventually positive emotions themselves start feeling dangerous. you learn to stay small, quiet, and emotionally neutral because some part of you believes that being visibly happy is just another opportunity to do something “wrong.”
I need to work on being a better friend. I’m naturally someone who keeps to myself, and I can go for days or even weeks without talking to anyone. I’m trying to change that and be more intentional with the people I care about, but honestly, it’s difficult when being a hermit is just part of who you are.......

I didn’t know what real love was until you showed me that it’s not just a feeling, but a choice we make every day to stay, to care, and to grow together
Nothing is truly out of reach. Whatever you want is possible, but the world doesn’t reward wishes, potential, or good intentions alone. It rewards action, consistency, and the courage to move while others remain stuck.
You don’t achieve something simply because you want it badly. You achieve it by becoming disciplined enough to pursue it every day, staying focused when things get difficult, and letting go of anything that keeps you from moving forward.
Dream about it, but more importantly, work for it.
