@bt_uk why have you started sending bill notifications by SMS and how can I stop it? It’s REALLY annoying and not something I have requested.

@bt_uk I had already opted out of marketing by sms, prior to the two phone calls and this was also redone for me on both calls yet I’m still getting an SMS notification that my bill is ready. Opting out of marketing SMS messages doesn’t affect messages relating to the account.

@bt_uk Yep, did this (TWICE… two consecutive months), didn’t work, still getting the text notifications I don’t want. Not going to bother anymore, will just have to block BT on my phone!
