@Teamsters@UPS 1) better hours with overtime
2) higher wages
3) raises for part timers
4) safer work environment
5) option for free water or to bring your own.
6) management needs work and so does shop Stuart's.
@BullWenkle@Teamsters@UPS Almost all UPS workers are part timers. Do you know how terrible the working conditions are for them? Yeah they deserve to be paid but also get decent hours.
@JohnHar39644954@Krizpal1083@Teamsters@UPS I don't personally work for UPS, my partner works for them.
He has been a loyal employee for 10 years and makes what a new-hire starts at. He's suppose to pick off but he's always forced to load because they can't keep employees. The conditions are very unsafe & unsteady hours.
@Krizpal1083@Teamsters@UPS 🤣 I'm sorry that's rude... but wow you certainly aren't or don't know any part-time UPS workers.
It's not that simple, especially when you have mouths to feed and bills to pay.
Everyone deserves a living wage and shouldn't be treated as less than because they are "part-time"
@Krizpal1083@Teamsters@UPS 1) Part-timer is a lose term at UPS.
2) As I said before it's a sliding scale, they can be asked to come in anytime after 2pm and made to stay up 10:30pm.
3) They can force you by write ups and firing you.
UPS workers are majority part-time.
@Krizpal1083@Teamsters@UPS Why should anyone need to get a second job when they already work 5 days a week?
Not only that but did you know they can be called in anytime Monday- Friday 2pm to 10pm? They don't get a set schedule. How do you get a 2nd job around that?
@Teamsters@UPS Thank you @Teamsters for having our backs! We need a living wage! Hardly making $300 a week doesn't work.

-Partner of a Part-timer @UPS
@UPS Health benefits are fantastic... the pay and hours are total shit. When you are only making hardly $300 a week that isn't a living wage. Most people need nearly $600 a week just to cover expenses.
@UPS Underpaid workers, horrible working conditions, unsteady hours and pay, but at least the health insurance is good 😒 because y'all like to give a bonus and then take it away... or allow overtime and take it away... you want loyal workers but aren't loyal.
@Teamsters@UPS 1) Part time workers are the ONLY union workers.
2) Part time workers work random grueling hours. They can be brought is anytime
between 2pm - 10pm.
3) It's never steady hours, do you know how hard it is to have a home on unsteady checks.
4) It's an unsafe work environment.
@BullWenkle@Teamsters@UPS That's incredibly messed up. My boyfriend is a Part-timer and he deserves to make a living wage and have health insurance. He works just as hard as his full-time coworkers. Why should he be punished for the job he was hired for?
@Klee7200@Teamsters@UPS Part-time employees pay union dues and they work just as hard as the full timers. Part-time employees make up the mast majority of the employees at UPS.
