But I don't agree with how similarly they have designed their pals and the potential usage of pokemon models. It rips of artists hours of hard work without credit and is just lazy effectively...

Temtem created their own 'pokemons' and I never saw issues with the designs...

My issues with palworld is never the concept of the game itself because I loved temtem, that's built upon the pokemon concept. And that's the reason why you have 'souls-like' games.

Make use of the components of a good game that exists and make it better. That's how you improve.

Also sad to see someone claiming that artists opinions don't matter, if it wasn't for their opinions you wouldn't have good visuals and practicality in games, movies or in everyday items. Artists create your merch you sell, they created your brand and they will continue to do so.

Is is really sad to see this because using pre-exisiting models or using someone's art as reference for generative AI is no different to one YouTuber or Streamer using clips someone else's clips unfairly.
It's content created by an individual. That's why YouTube strikes exist.
