Thanks to everyone that is following this account. Drug policy/reform really does need exploring, this is something Norman was a big advocate of and he explains why in his book.
Don’t forget to watch and share our video in remembrance of our friend @PilcherBC - he’s got such a story and legacy. Let’s hear him and let his voice travel.
"Cressida Dick has been covering up time and time again."
Broadcaster Paul Gambaccini says the Met Police leadership has a mafia code of silence and calls on the Commissioner to leave her post.

Norman was one of the first police officers to fight the 'war on drugs' - his career legendary. Norman called for drug law reform and we urge you to watch and share this short film. We pay respects to @PilcherBC who sadly passed away in March. Thank you Norman!

Norman was tasked with the ‘high profile arrests’ that are being called for again today by @pritipatel... we’ll let Norman have the last word as to why we need drug reform

Massive thanks to @UKLEAP for the kind words and support. Norman would have cherished the positive response. If anyone is interested in a more in-depth look at Norman’s time in the drug squad and his views on reform his book is available here: https://t.co/yKwefBchvr

He would not want anybody to be sad at his passing but instead to grab every opportunity that comes along in life. Finally, he had no regrets and wanted to thank everybody who had touched his life in a positive way.
It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that Norman 'Nobby' Pilcher passed away on Sunday evening, 14th March. Norman had bravely battled Cancer for almost 7-years and in the end he died peacefully in his sleep.
He was cared for with love and dignity until the end and suffered no pain. His family are immensely proud of everything he achieved in his life and that he was able to share part of that through the publication of his book 'Bent Coppers'.
