Wow, what an absolutely amazing first day Year 6 have had on their Residential Trip. We have taken part in a river scramble and orienteering activities! We are now enjoying the sunset on top of the Dewerstone rocks!
@ReachSouth1
Year 3 and 5 have loved bikeability this week! The training equips children with vital life skills. Pupils not only learn to cycle, they gain independence, social skills and a sense of wellbeing. @BikeabilityUK@ReachSouth1 🚴♂️🚴
⚽️Well done Harrison!⚽️
We are extremely proud of Harrison who has been selected to join Exeter City FC Academy after impressing coaches at trials. Harrison has already played against Manchester City and Swansea, and we can’t wait to see where his talents take him next!
This term, Year 5 enjoyed a visit to MSubs of Plymouth as part of the Widening Horizons project. The children were able to sit in a submarine and find out about the role of a submarine manufacturer. Thank you for having us, we had a great time!

👏THANK YOU!👏
A huge thank you to our wonderful school community for your generous donations towards Comic Relief this year. We have raised an amazing £170 so far (with donations still coming into school!). Your support as always is very much appreciated. #RedNoseDay
We would like to extend a MASSIVE thank you to Argyle Community Trust for their generous donation of library books which are going a long way in helping us to bring the joy of stories and books to our pupils. We can’t wait to read them! 📚👏👇

Happy World Book Day! To celebrate, we shared our favourite stories and had our very own ‘Masked Reader’ competition. We had great fun discussing our reading recommendations and guessing who's behind the mask! 📚📸👇

Year 4 completed their Mini Police programme this week with a special presentation assembly. The local PCSOs who had been running the scheme were joined by Inspector Robin Loveridge, who awarded each pupil with their own certificate. Well done, Year 4! You’ve done brilliantly!👏
👮Introducing our Year 4 Mini Police!👮♀️
They have patrolled our playgrounds and supported children at breaktimes and lunchtimes, learned about the importance of online safety and launched a road safety campaign to help make roads around our school safer. Well done, Year 4!
This week at Pilgrim, we are celebrating Children’s Mental Health Week. Today was all about positive affirmations and how using this in our daily routine can boost our self-esteem and promote a growth mindset. #TeamPilgrim📸👇

⭐🎄Merry Christmas!🎄⭐
From everyone here at Pilgrim Primary, we wish all of our school community a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. We look forward to welcoming the children back on Wednesday 5th January 2022.
Throughout December, our pupils have been involved in a Reverse Advent Calendar. Instead of receiving a gift, they have brought into school items to give to our local foodbank. We would like to thank #TeamPilgrim for supporting this very worthwhile appeal.
