Look who is back. Neftali Alvarez who had a great freshman year at Fairfield University who transferred to Mercer University to play with two of his high school teammates and for head coach Greg Gary. I’m telling you “Nef” is going to tear the SoCon Conference.

Not born in Miami but raised in Miami from the age of 2 yrs old. I love this city. There’s something special about the 305. At only 13 years old I used to sell football programs at the Orange Bowl. My family, friends, business, is in the City of Miami.

There has been so many kids that have been through our basketball programs ie: Miami Tropics, Miami Prep, Miami Christian that it’s impossible to fit them all in. All these kid were a big part of our programs. They all moved on to play NCAA College Basketball and Professionally.

Check out @NorchadO “The Beast”. This dude has gained 10 pounds of pure muscle. Look at his shoulders, biceps, triceps. “El Nica” means business. He is eating those weights. He will make some more history at Arkansas State. The Miami Prep Alumni is also tearing it up in Open Gyms

Press Release: The start date for Miami Prep students have been moved to September 8th instead of August 12. This is of course due to the Coronavirus. We will start our practice on that same day 9/8/2020

Lastly, our Social Media Director, Roman Garcia. Garcia was an 11-year veteran of the Miami Herald spending time covering High School and College Sports among other things, before moving to civil service in government.

In his three years at Miami Christian, he compiled a 74-19 records (.796 winning percentage) -and even spent 18-19 on the sidelines with the varsity girls’ team, leading the team to a 17-7 and an appearance in the state semifinals.
