The Thursday Neighbourhood Group have started a project of outdoor activities with Espe from @greenspacetrust
Over a 6 week period, we’ll be taking part in environmental activities to benefit the community.

We know the importance of food in bringing people together, & the impact of food poverty. Last week, we delivered food parcels to our Friday Neighbourhood Group & our Weekend Resource.

Today is World Mental Health Day.
At PEP we are proud to offer a mental health provision for older and other vulnerable adults, as well as our older people’s lunch clubs, community transport and weekly computer class.

Chris is a regular driver for QCCC & Clive is a group member who attends every Thursday. At 92 years old, we can safely say that Clive’s artistic talent is outstanding!
On Monday our Golden Oldies club enjoyed a fantastic cruise on the Ratho barge!
We sailed down the canal, stopping for lunch at the Almond Aqueduct before journeying back to Ratho.

Goodbye Beth
Today is the last day at PEP of our Mental Health Worker, Beth Flinton.
Beth came to PEP in July 2022 to run our mental health provision, the Neighbourhood Group.
Everyone at PEP is so grateful for Beth’s hard work in the community. Thank you, Beth!
Yesterday we held our annual Summer Party at Queensberry Bowling Club!
PEP’s groups all came together to enjoy a day of dancing, music, a delicious lunch, & a raffle with lots of prizes.
Thank you to our entertainer Anita and our staff and volunteers for all their hard work.
On Monday our Golden Oldies club visited the Kelpies, & @CWAScotland kindly agreed to put on more trishaw rides for us, whizzing us around the beautiful scenery of Helix Park.
Thank you so much to the “volunteer pilots” from Cycling Without Age for another lovely day out.
Last week our Weekend Resource enjoyed a trip to the Ratho Barge!
We travelled down the Union Canal, stopping for lunch on Ratho Bridge.
The sun was shining (mostly!) as we returned, giving us some stunning views.

Our Neighbourhood Group had an amazing time last Friday at the Kelpies in Falkirk.
The group were treated to a cycle around the area courtesy of 4 volunteers from @CWAScotland, with the team whizzing us around on their trishaws. Thanks for a great experience!
Our Golden Oldies club enjoyed a visit to @ourdynamicearth on Monday.
The group travelled back in time, seeing everything from glaciers to volcanoes, closing with an amazing experience in the planetarium.

Last Friday our Chummies Club visited @YeOldeInn for lunch.
The sun was shining as we booked out the lovely conservatory, with some even sitting outside to enjoy the early Scottish summer.
Thank you to the staff for the fantastic service and meal - we’ll definitely be back!
