When @OfflynLife told us to change the name, Vinit convinced them otherwise and then asked @PimpYourPal if we were okay with this potentially becoming a national issue. We were!

Then we posted it on X, got 1.5M views and got trashed in pretty much every possible way (not just for the name).

News outlets picked this up and followed us all the way to the event day.

We did what I think was a really wholesome matchmaking party. Friends pitched their friends, and the cutest thing was watching them hug each other after getting pitched. Every friend who got pitched later went around pitching their female friends too. My real KPI was seeing people have fun, and they did. People stayed longer than they had to, formed little circles on the terrace, gossiped, met new people, and at some point, we didn’t even need to manage the crowd anymore.

So grateful for how this turned out and to all the divas who showed up with the killer pitches.
