I just wouldn’t buy any Mercedes (Adidas) merch or merch from multi-driver fan artists anymore, because I don’t want to see my money — even if it’s not much — being used to support other drivers or pay for anti-GR PR pieces, like Mercedes does. You never know if your money might end up being used to pay some adult-content creator to trash GR online.
Bad news:
Its creator is a 12s who has repeatedly attacked George and 63s with her friends in customer group chats.💀
She’s cashing in on 63, not supporting him, while even spelling his name “russel” in the promo.😅
**And the original price in China is only 💲9.23 USD.
@fia Greetings FIA,
I see you hid my previous reply as it contained some unpleasant words. I’ll kindly ask you do correct your documents about power unit components becuase currently they are blatantly wrong https://t.co/rN7VzbfJLa
I already knew the FIA’s paperwork was a fucking mess since Las Vegas last year,
but can someone PLEASE explain how Antonelli’s EXH went from 4 to 3?🤯🤯🤯
starting the lap:
MV--(~0.5s)--KA--(1.02s)--GR
MV---------(1.5s)---------GR
comparison:
CL---------(2.53s)------LH
LH--------(5.64s)-------PG
😅
Hulkenberg said less than 3-5 seconds would be the ideal gap
Russell had 0.5s-1.5s to VER the whole lap = that's just dirty air
(Max jumps ahead of George)
(George doesn't give a f)
(Max checks his mirrors)
VER: we'll probably have George crying on the radio about the pit release, but it was nothing unsafe
(GP checks)
GP: no, nothing Max
😅
Mercedes’ talent drain is expected. Imagine being an R&D engineer while two clueless old men micromanage you and force you to focus on #MercedesMatchFixing. Any top talent in their prime would naturally grab their bucket and run immediately.
Wasn't the Q about George's broken engine (ICE)? Of which telemetry showed many red signals that Mercedes had denied for too long?
How does Toto's thoughts jump to Kimi's perfectly functioning engine?
figured out a potential issue on his before long-existing ones on George's?
Hungary FP1 fastest laps (Russell & Vesti):
the two Mercedes cars are still DEFINITELY not deploying the same ways.
Vesti's / Antonelli's PU is deploying more down the first Straight,
George exits corner 2 much faster, yet his top speed is still slower in the 3rd Straight (although he does carry more speed between Turns 8 & 9)
And I'd talked about a possible misfiring of George's audio beep (that signals lifting at the end of lap) at Spa FP2 - and I am more convinced now
People who criticized GR last time for “not respecting the safety of other drivers” have suddenly changed their narrative again? It really just seems like you simply don’t like GR.
It’s pretty obvious that Ant lifted off the throttle too late, and he was so close to Vstp that you could see it with the naked eye. If Ant had spun, there was a real possibility that he could have hit Vstp.
GR, on the other hand, lifted around 100 meters earlier, and he was much farther away from the incident—so far that he couldn’t even see the crashed car.
Please stop pretending these are the same situation. They aren’t.
Turns out Max was that close to the edge? Kimi only lifted 16 meters early, and one wrong move would have immediately sent him crashing into Max. Suddenly nobody cares about driver safety anymore?
The onboard footage and telemetry graphs make it obvious that the FIA got it right. Kimi merely lifted 16 meters early and even stepped on the gas under the yellows. Suddenly nobody cares about the drivers’ safety anymore? Kimi was basically trying to kill Max out there!
Other things that I'm only realizing now:
3. Mercedes had told Russell to CHANGE HIS DRIVING STYLE between Silverstone and Spa. And that he put in rigorous work, and had successfully changed his driving style, only to still see the deployment issue, so they finally (after 2 weeks) can rule out driving style as the issue.
I now realize -
they have been POISONING RUSSELL's ALGORITHM. Changing driving input is introducing MASSIVE covariate shift.
Any AI engineer couldn't have NOT known that abruptly changing driving style would only taint the feedback loop.
For two weeks, Russell's algorithm was optimizing for a compromised driving style that only existed because the original code was broken.
