“McGrath’s score has a pleasant musicality and uses an almost playground-esque motif to devastating effect as its melody echoes hauntingly from palace corridors to her own psyche.”

Our first review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@advsintheatre

“Hoeberigs instantly endears Joanna to her audience, and transports us through her complex emotional journey with aplomb. Raftery crackles with dangerous energy, while Vicary cuts a menacing background figure.”

@ENortonHistory Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the show. 😊

A wonderful evening watching #TheQueenisMad tonight. The musical tells the story of the rightfully furious Joanna I of Castile, who is disenfranchised by a sinister King Ferdinand and a controlling Archduke Philip. The songs are wonderful, as is the script. The actors are superb. Well worth a trip over to Camden #juanalaloca #juanaofcastile @pineconeperformance @TomJamesMcGrath @AmyClareTasker

[Susie Italiano @susieitaliano]

Gentle reminder that I put together a Masterclass on how to effectively budget for a theatre show. It's awesome, helpful, friendly, full of tips, resources, and examples. Here it is: https://t.co/EQP5hE0hUP

Loved 'The Queen Is Mad' by @PineconeLab at @LandUTheatre!

A moving story of power, betrayal & rage, skillfully retold through its chamber score. 'Joanna la Loca' deserves to be heard!

Don't miss it, until Sat 23 March!
