Some happy news: Jörg Mansfeld has been awarded a CRUK Senior Cancer Research Fellowship to pursue cell cycle regulation by Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).

We are in the bizarre position that the last set of ERC Grant awardees in the UK have to reject their grant so that the UK Government will pick up the tab...

That's it - we can no longer apply for ERC grants. UK Science is currently in a sad place. We are unable to take to take a full part in the European scientific community that we find so welcoming and beneficial.

We are looking for a microscopist to pursue our exciting discoveries with Fluorescence Cross Correlation Spectroscopy (FCCS).

FCCS has already given us unexpected insights into how the APC/C recognises Cyclin B1, and how Cyclin-CDK complexes are assembled. Now we are addressing how the Spindle Assembly Checkpoint works!
