@kevoisthegoat The value in that trade was definitely good. But Knies is still only 23 on a friendly deal and is a unique player lots of teams are looking to add and need. Thats something you donโt just trade away regardless of value.
Iโd entertain a #1 D, but its hard to give up on a Knies.
@puckempire McKenna needs to focus on getting bigger for next season. Yea skipping the IIHF hurts his draft stock, but skipping the tournament is whats best for his development to keep up in the show next year.
@CanadasLeafs Iโm willing to gamble on Jussi Ahokas if we canโt get Carle.
Great at developing prospects and can help *McKenna, Cowan, Danford, Knies etc.
Immediately turned Kitchener back into a contender.
And his teams play inspired, relentless, team hockey.
Fresh off OHL championship
@austinpavao_ Both at the top of my list too.
My dark horse is Jussi Ahokas in Kitchener.
Euro and junior coach but has had success everywhere heโs been, success in coaching the Finnish juniors, analytical, and the Rangers play is just a relentless blend of skill and physicality.
