ఎంతసేపు ప్రభుత్వం మీద బురద జల్లి శునకానందం పొందే మా పింకీలకు.. మా హయాంలో కట్టిన ఈ సైకిల్ ట్రాక్ పర్రెలు పడటంతో నోట్లో పచ్చి వెలక్కాయ పడ్డట్టయింది...

కమీషన్లకు కక్కుర్తి పడి, నాసిరకంగా నిర్మించిన కట్టడాలు ఒక్కొక్కటిగా బయటపడటంతో దానిని సమర్థించుకునేందుకు ఈ అగచాట్లు పడుతున్నరు పాపం..

Firstly, I stand by my story - and honestly, this meme was just too cute not to share. So here I am, adding a little masala to that conversation!

Congress isn’t the first government to cancel Formula E. Back in 2017, Montreal’s new Mayor canceled it after the old one lost, citing financial concerns. Same to same. And the guess what? Montreal ended up paying a $3 million out-of-court settlement in 2021.

Naturally, I wanted to know much was FEO planning to squeeze out of Telangana? Public money, mind you!

One top person in gormint said “thousands of crores and may have to sell off HMDA assets to cover damages”.

This was the story I was actually pursuing - only to realise after a month of talking to all sorts of people - FEO didn’t even specify the damages!!!

And the timeline? Oh, it’s comedy gold: arbitration filed in April, bill generated in June, and poof - case closed by July. Why this sudden mehrbani towards Telangana - no damages, arbitration closed? Montreal didn’t get this kind of VIP treatment, so what did we Hyderabadis do to deserve it?

Meanwhile, someone big in the gormint (and trust me, inka ainaki minchi pedha leru) said, “state govt said it would file criminal case against them, as the agreement itself is false and so they withdrew”. Suspicious? Ante vadu Edoh howla pani chesinatu undi le?!

Speaking of which, how has FEO managed to avoid the ED and ACB radar? And why wasn’t action taken against the promoters after the first breach of contract? So many unanswered questions!

* I do have to mention about Ace Next Gem, the ultimate charmer. My closest sources described him as, “If you sit in front of him, he’ll make you believe he’s the best thing since biryani and you’re the chosen one. Despite defaults payments & race being done is possibly his magic”

This firm may have contributed to skills varsity. Almost the amount he didn’t want to pay for formula E.

*And why was HMDA under so much hurry? For small things, we make an agreement first and then pay. But here? Pay first, agreement later??

Word on the street is that KCR said something along the lines of “oka 3-6 months jail poyi ra” about this whole fiasco.

KTR, on the other hand, is casually giving AP Chandrababu Naidu-style skill development vibes, saying, “didn’t do anything wrong, won’t go for anticipatory bail.”

Judicial corridors in Delhi see this as BJP thing than Congress. It’s like the hen in that rooster fight which just stood and won!!
