Shit life syndrome is by far the biggest determinant of ill-health. We all need decent jobs, diets, a living income, green space, shelter, security, friends, clean air, purpose & kindness. If we focus on these, the economy & NHS will thrive. If we don't, chronic illness will win

The whole world is laughing.
@LidlGB Thank you Lidl Prestatyn for a genuinely pleasant Christmas food shop today. All shelves replenished and items available in calm atmosphere for autistic friend. Excellent customer service by the team there too.
Wales was once an independent nation.
We signed treaties, we made laws, we minted currency…
And we'll do so again.
We *can* still rise – and be the nation again.

Happy birthday to the oldest document in the University’s archival collection. Today, this charter, issued by King Richard I at Canterbury to the Bishop of Coventry on 30 November 1189, is 834 year old. Quite a feat!

While the circus in #DowningStreet continues, people in Wales are facing a difficult winter.

The Home Secretary deliberately incited hate & violence on Armistice Day at the actual Cenotaph. Household name journalists, editors & politicians gleefully joined in. This is not normal. They will be absolutely livid that the peace march proceeded peacefully. They are dangerous.
This is where we are at right now . . . and this is not what my relatives fought and died for in the last century . . . nor what our youth should tolerate now . What has this nation honestly become ? I feel utterly ashamed watching this @streetskitchen@BigIssue
Here's another for you @SuellaBraverman. 18 year old boy from Enfield. His Mum dies and he has no family. He ends up homeless living in a shed. He gets my contact details and I help him. I put him in the Travelodge on the A10 for 2 weeks until I can find him a room in a housing association. I knew the staff so this was possible. He was scared, cold, wet, and starving when I picked him up. He cried for hours. Anyhow we looked after him and now he's doing a degree in engineering. It was not a lifestyle choice for him. And I'm sure he'd be more than happy to educate you on this.
