DCU Batman being the main villain of Deathstroke and Bane would actually be insane we've never gotten a movie from the perspective of his rogues of how scary he is, and they could easily incorporate the League of Assassins in this before seeing them in The Brave and The Bold
The thing is - I get they've been worked on for a long while but at the end of the day, if Batman Brave and the Bold isn't ready, what's the alternative? To rush out BATB/WW when they're not ready, and risk another Supergirl?
If this news is true, it's just what they have and view as ready (obvs debatable what's 'ready' after Supergirl's script got greenlit) and so they want to get it geared up if there's no need to hold it back. The same with other projects that are in the works and more 'ready' than BaTB/WW e.g. Olsen Series, etc.
nobody's defended the dcu more than i have but 2 batman rogue villains getting movies before batman himself is certainly frustrating on many levels
it's probably going to be roughly a 6 year from when brave and the bold was announced to when it actually comes out, not sure how long you can shelf your prized moneymaker

De acuerdo a la página "DCU HYPE", tienen un contacto que estuvo en el rodaje de #Clayface y mencionan que Batman tendrá una aparición en el film.
Se rumorea que Tom Brittney es el actor elegido.
According to box office analysts Early Buzz on Man of Tomorrow is promising:
“While a setback, the result for "Supergirl" does not necessarily undermine the broader strategy that Mr. Gunn and Mr. Safran have put in place for DC Studios. Box office analysts are optimistic, about the fortunes of their next movie, "Clayface," which cost only an estimated $45 million to make; it arrives in October. Early buzz around "Man of Tomorrow" is also promising.”
Let's make this clear. Ana Nogueira is a brilliant writer and that Supergirl ending is empowering, shocking and cathartic. It was the best choice to cement the film's message.
The fact that it's different from the comic is a GOOD thing! Adaptations should bring a new lens.
Peter Safran on DC Studios'
"I want to rebuild the trust of the audience, which I think DC had lost over the years.. We have a big responsibility on our shoulders but we're thrilled with how it's going so far"

Ana Nogueira, when asked what stage the Wonder Woman and Teen Titans scripts are in:
"Oh, they’re so early. They’re in very different stages, I’ll say that. They’re all just such great characters, and I can’t believe I get to figure out what I would do with them the way that we did with Kara and Supergirl. But it’s still early days on both."
