The Balconies caves have been closed due to flooding as of this morning! With additional rain coming this whole next week, the caves are expected to remain closed through the next week at least.
Tomorrow, Labor Day, is expected to be the hottest day of the year!

@Zoobaby2003 Pinnacles is an extremely vertical park, with limited options not on-trail; The West side tends to have better views of the rock formations, but nature centers will not be open and the road only goes a few miles in. The best summer activity at Pinnacles is stargazing!
⚠️EXTREME HEAT WARNING
According to the National Weather Service, in-park temperatures will exceed 110(F) degrees for the upcoming holiday weekend.
Park operations are likely to be disrupted due to heat, and visitors are advised to avoid hiking on trail.
