On May 11, 2024, @ContraCostaFire will be hosting a Wildfire Preparedness Town Hall Meeting & Open House at Station 74. Event parking will utilize Ellerhorst Elementary blacktop directly from Station 74. A temporary crosswalk will be established 10AM-2PM.
Today 04/17, we were alerted to a widespread email regarding a bomb threat sent to multiple school districts, including ours. We initiated a collaborative effort with the WCCUSD and allied L.E agencies, working throughout the morning to address the situation. Here is the Update:

Holiday Tree Lighting
On 12/02/2023, the City of Pinole will conduct its annual Holiday Tree Lighting Event. It will start at 4:45 P.M. at Fernandez Park, proceeding west through Fernandez Park and follow Tennent Avenue southbound. See attachment for more info.
The City is working with PG&E to provide power and complete a traffic signal installation at Appian and Marlesta. Until then per VC28100(d), treat the intersection as a 4-way stop. Temporary stop signs will be placed at the intersection. Thank you for your understanding.
