That being said… it’s a very short show. And goose warned people at the start that she just wanted to play around with an idea when she made this. But people built up certain expectations & were left disappointed.

Idk what mistakes or what standard it isn’t reaching because visually it’s great.
Arguments could be made about the script and the direction the story goes. But animation? It’s lovely.

Kinger’s appeal I think is really just his wholesome dad energy. People probably found a lot of comfort in his character after ep.3
