Time to compare the Sun, Earth and Moon. Thanks Coach for the extra materials! Students were THRILLED when they saw hula hoops in my classroom. @EKD_Elementary@ECISDScience#ECISDscienceROCKS
Back in action in EKD science! Demonstrating to our peers how the day and night cycle happens. “How can you tell that it’s sunrise like this?” I heard one student ask. AMAZING 🌎🌞🌛@EKD_Elementary@ECISDScience#ECISDscienceROCKS
More ornaments from our Semester of Science reflection. Some of the students favorite topics were - energy (the prism & the Christmas ball with “lights”, MELTS); force (the man pushing the button) @EKD_Elementary@ECISDScience#ECISDscienceROCKS
Taking time to reflect on our year! Students made an ornament that represents their favorite topic - such creative ideas! Popcorn for thermal energy & an oil derrick for fossil fuels! @EKD_Elementary@ECISDScience#ECISDscienceROCKS
A fun, exciting and exhausting day of BAZINGA! to review for our unit test tomorrow. The students love it, and get really competitive - and made sure their whole team worked together. It was AWESOME. ⚡️🌟 @EKD_Elementary@ECISDScience#ECISDscienceROCKS
@WeAreTeachers Preheated the oven to cook green bean casserole for our staff potluck. Set the timer to 30 minutes. Oven beeped. Opened it up and it was EMPTY. Cant cook green beans if you never put them in the oven 🤦🏼♀️
