Honest 24h feedback:

We run https://t.co/jAHzxdJ7Eb, a finance agent that's free for our users — so our model choice is always a balance of quality vs cost, not just picking the smartest model available.

We just switched our default from Gemini 3.5 Flash to 3.6 Flash. Clearest change so far: cost dropped noticeably, and output quality held.

We also tried GPT-5.6 Luna in between. Capable model, but it was less strict about applying tools and skills correctly, so our users occasionally got broken replies. For an agent that has to call tools reliably, that reliability matters more than raw smarts — so we switched back to Gemini.

Still watching for a few more days before we draw firm conclusions. Fuller report to come.
