@BBCRadio4 I am have been inconvenienced by the strikes, you know who I blame? The Tories. Withdraw labour, fight for change, that’s the only way lasting change is realised. #RailStrikes
Ah, the MP who’s ability to answer an email is in question is now Secretary of State for Education. Excellent. That’s the kind of quality appointment I expect from Boris’ Britain.
Conservative MP Scott Benton celebrates the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade. In 22 states, that means near-immediate abortion bans.
There are men in our Parliament who’d take women’s rights back to the Victorian era if they could.
My MP, Scott Benton, supports women losing the right to have an abortion. He also wants us to leave the ECHR. If he's typical of other Tory MPs (and he is), does anyone else see a massive problem here when it comes to the government creating a so-called British Bill of Rights?
@SpursOfficial Scott Benton MP, one of your season ticket holders, has retweeted a GOP tweet about being pro forced pregnancy. Do you really want him at your games? #RowVsWade
@michelledonelan Your colleague Scott Benton retweeted a Republican’s tweet about being pro forced pregnancy. I hope you condemn this in the strongest possible terms. Forced pregnancies equal women’s deaths. #RoeVsWade
Liberal Democrats won a 29.9% swing in Tiverton & Honiton.
Even a swing half that size would see us win 47 seats from the Conservatives at a General Election.
The DST announcement is just the icing on the crappy announcement cake. I can’t go to the one in Germany, toddler would require a passport and that wasn’t an expense I have factored in at this late stage. 😡
@fiona_skywalker Exactly. The only reason that might happen is as you said, risk to mother, unviability of foetus. No one else is going to do that. I support abortion on demand up to 40 week, but we all know, late abortions happen due to tragedy. That baby is wanted.
