Wat Ban Den is Chiang Mai's Blue Temple, a visually stunning blend of traditional Lanna craftsmanship & intricate modern styles. I liked to sit quietly & take in the visual beauty + listen to the soundscape. This temple's wind chimes were accompanied by the soft calls of doves.

Visiting Wat Phra That Doi Suthep was a challenge: multiple sets of stairs to reach the entrance where a pair of phaya nak guard the main stairway & extend all the way up to the temple. I waited at the bottom while Hubby Matthew climbed to the top.
