Elon Musk, tonight on Tesla’s Q1 earnings call:

‘Hardware 3 simply does not have the capability to achieve unsupervised FSD.’

‘Memory bandwidth is the choke point.’

‘It would make sense to convert all HW3 cars to HW4.’

‘We’re going to have to set up micro factories.’

No timeline. No refund. Oh, but a trade-in discount. Woohoo, pay Tesla twice for the same broken promise.

The hardware can’t do it. The fix doesn’t exist yet. And Tesla asked for more patience.
