Hardly a surprise to Reform councillors! Watch as increasingly more Reform-led councils show the Uniparty what common sense governance can and will achieve. Congratulations @LancashireCC!
Exclusive: My visit inside the Wethersfield migrant camp today.
None of them are DNA tested. 20% have latent TB. And Braintree Council are using taxpayers’ money to put on ‘fun activities’ for the 800 asylum seeking residents (1200 soon).
The thing is, I didn’t see anything like 800. That’s because most of them are bussed, at your expense, into Chelmsford, Braintree and Colchester everyday to be coached on how to best the asylum system by Care for Calais and the like.
Happy with that?
The London Underground carries adverts warning men that 'staring' at women is a criminal offence. At the same time, authorities knowingly allow men who don't believe that child sex or FGM are crimes to roam free in the UK. Words are cheap. If the government really cared about VAWG, it would detain all those who arrive in Britain illegally.
The 30 year gilt yield hit a high point of 5.092% under Liz Truss. It was below 4.8% before Labour came to power.
As of this evening under Burnham & Healey, the 30 year gilt yield is 5.835%.
That means less money for schools & hospitals, & no respite for homeowners & renters.
Love this from @LNallalingham.
So many of us are getting involved in politics not because of potential power or influence but simply because we love our country; we want something precious to be saved and conserved for our children.

❤️ THIS is why I refuse to stay quiet.
I’m not a politician.
I’m not paid to sit on TV and have the “correct” opinion.
I have a normal job in the City. I’m a dad to a five-year-old. Everything you see me doing is done in the few spare hours I can find each week.
I never set out to become an influencer. In truth, I hate politics.
I don’t care about Left vs Right. I don’t care about the tribal nonsense of pretending one party is good and the other is evil.
I care about fixing this country.
Because that’s the country my daughter is going to inherit.
And your children will inherit it too.
I got involved because I became sick of watching increasingly incompetent politicians manage Britain’s decline while ordinary families are expected to work harder, pay more and accept less.
The closer I’ve got to politics, the less impressed I’ve become.
Too much of it is about ambition, loyalty, connections and climbing the ladder. Too little is about competence and actually getting things done.
I won’t change what I believe to get invited onto a particular TV show.
I won’t stay quiet to get offered a position on someone’s committee.
I can’t be bought, and I won’t trade my values for access.
I grew up in poverty in East London and learnt something very early:
If nobody gives you a seat at the table, build your own table.
That’s what I’m doing.
Not because I want a career in politics.
Because I want my daughter, and all of our children, to inherit a country better than the one we’re currently leaving them.
It comes at a price.
I think that’s a price worth paying.
And they won’t shut me up.
More proof for the existence of the Uniparty?! The Conservative Party are prepared to work hand-in-glove with Labour in attempts to silence working people and tone-deaf to the majority of British voters. #uniparty https://t.co/lZJ8ulUQ2t
Kemi Badenoch has had a quiet summer — and that could be a big mistake.

Last night Reform polled 63% of the vote and Nigel increased his vote on 2024 by 1000.
The telling stat though is the Uniparty vote, represented by Jonathan Harvey in fancy dress. The Uniparty galvanised behind a parody character but nonetheless it was the Conservatives, Labour, the Greens and the Lib Dems promoting and endorsing themselves albeit as a bin.
Combined therefore, the Uniparty achieved just 26% of the vote.
Ouch.
How about credit where credit is due?
It is absolutely clear that Essex is now a Reform heartland. I predict that every Tory Shadow minister with an Essex seat will be swept away by a turquoise tsunami in 2029.
Kemi Badenoch may hold on in North West Essex (maj: 2,600).
What is massively overlooked by Nigel Farage’s critics is that Reform now has a lot more data about where Reform supporters live in Clacton than they did in 2024 when he stood to be the MP with just six weeks before polling day. This will hugely help him in future elections. More at @GBNEWS.
