@EmmaKennedy@HodderBooks Loved your openness on Saturday Live and have ordered your book. My mother has over 50 years of diaries and I really don’t know whether to read them once she is no longer here. She sounds so similar to your mother.
So a summary of our coronavirus strategy so far. We don’t know where the enemy is, because we’re not testing nearly enough, and we’re sending some of our troops into battle with holes in their armour.
Absolutely outrageous that you can’t say how many Nurses have succumb to #coronavirus#COVIDー19@MattHancock how can this be acceptable, you say you value us but wouldn’t you want to know that figure? #bbcqt
Listen @MattHancock the GenSec of @theRCN is telling you there’s a shortage of #PPE do you accept that? Nurses will always put their patients first & you know that. #bbcqt
How can the Minister for Health not know how many nurses have succumb to #coronavirus#COVIDー19 ? Wouldn’t someone in his position want to know that? He keeps using the war metaphor, parliament recognises when a soldier falls but he doesn’t know when a nurse does? #bbcqt
What are the infection control procedures for the large open plan wards at the Nightingale Hospital? Will it be possible to practice barrier nursing? And how will dignity be retained if there are no curtains between beds?

An excellent time to rethink how we can learn and make ultimate use of new technologies. You will be our future leaders so I really am interested in your ideas and thinking outside the tradional box.
So, with some universities closing, why don’t you share your plans for your time off?
Extra study? Going to work more? Binge watch TV (share some good show’s below 👇).?
Whatever it is, we’d love to know what your personal plans are while we try to get through this.

Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system. All over the world, we are being called on to respond to this global challenge. In the coming weeks and months, I know we will all seek to demonstrate the professionalism that people have come to trust and rely on. @theRCN#covid
@C_Carmichael83 Most definitely. My 93 year old mother is on Facebook and email. If you are really patient it will be liberating for her and your family.
@MattHancock My son lives in Shanghai and the Chinese response to working towards the “new normal” is to keep an eye on temperatures. Above 37.8c and anyone is sent home. Cheap, brilliant and sensible.

In light of #Covid_19, & mindful of the fact that we have a duty to protect people who've survived #sepsis, we've today taken the difficult decision to suspend our face-to-face support groups. Rest assured we are urgently exploring technological solutions, we won't let you down!
Researching for my service evaluation project and the more I read, the more I want to read. Trying to be a sponge and soak up all this information. Feel privileged to be in this position, working on a project with @GlosHealthNHS and learning about @SWRecovery along the way 👌
