Reception class had an amazing time putting on Reception's Got Talent. We enjoyed sharing our talents with our Year 4 buddies before they spread their wings and fly off to their next wonderful adventure at middle school! Good luck Year 4 from your buddies and well done Reception!

Year 1 have had a fantastic day dressing as their favourite animal! We spent the day being crafty, making masks, colouring and creating our own piece of animal art work.

Year 1 have enjoyed eating their fruit ice-lolly they made in D&T. A great way to cool down in the warm sun today!

Reception have buried their time capsule today. It is filled with pictures and work that we will enjoy digging up and looking at when we are in Year 4. What an exciting memory this will be!

This afternoon has been spent having a tea party! All the children who achieved the Reading Challenge have enjoyed afternoon tea with Mrs Williamson-Smith, Mrs Hallett and Mrs Beeston. Well done everyone, a very well deserved treat!

We raised a massive £2278.48 at our Summer Fair last week. Many thanks to all who attended and supported and especially to Dan from @canalcruisingco who donated the gas for the BBQ and Christine from @Morrisons who sorted the bread order.

This morning Year 1 have been making their fruit ice-lolly's that they have been designing over the last couple of weeks.

Yesterday morning Year 1 explored drawing and telling the time to the hour. The children drew out their clocks and used different coloured chalk to draw different times on.

Year 2 have been busy revising their multiplication and associated facts. We loved drawing on the tables! Now time for @numbots and @TTRockStars on the Ipads

Year 4 had a fabulous treat yesterday morning! They had a great time doing Laser Tag and Zorbing; what an amazing experience!

Year 2 have been busy this half term designing and making their own moving vehicles. We had a great time this morning outside playing with and evaluating our vehicles!

Reception had a wonderful time last week sharing their carnival with everyone! We loved singing, dancing and playing instruments together. It was wonderful that the sun shone and we got to have a party to end our learning about Brazil.

Year 4 have been busy organising their stalls for Friday’s Summer Fair. They can’t wait to see you there and raise lots of money for school.

Year 1 has been exploring time this week and today we have used the stopwatches to time our friends in races. What super teamwork using the stopwatches and reading the times.

Year 3 had an amazing time at the Thinktank Science Musuem exploring and learning about science and technology in our everyday lives. Lots of fun was had with the hands-on activities and viewing the real-life artefacts.

Reception had an amazing time completing their sports day today! Lots of amazing athletics and teamwork was on display. We rounded off a super day with a well deserved and delicious ice lolly! Well done everyone!
