It is a very dangerous thing for a minister to think that everything he preaches is the Gospel of Jesus Christ or that everything in his ministry may be correctly designated as “Gospel ministry.” The Gospel is a very specific message.

What an odd idea that an impersonal, finite, material universe produced a living creature, such as myself, that is convicted to the core that an infinite, personal God exists outside and other than the universe, who created him in His image. Why that telos?
And if the atheist replies that it is equally odd that an infinite, personal God created a finite universe that contained a finite being in His image, such as himself, who is committed to the claim that such a God could not exist, I would reply:

Do not buy the lie that it is prideful to hold unwavering convictions about biblical truth. And do not buy the lie that the man who does not take a firm stance on doctrine, though he is well informed on Scripture’s teaching, is somehow humble.
@Eric_Conn Indeed! God is sovereign over the state just as He is over the family and Church. We Christians are members of all spheres. Thus, we should be active in all spheres. Two kingdom theology is unhelpful and a rather odd way to view reality.
