@tezilyas So in the whole history of football there has only been 55 world class players? If another one comes along, does the player at number 5 for his position stop being considered world class?
@tehTrunk@KieranMaguire@alanshearer It’s “football inflation” Jack, not retail price inflation. It basically attempts to reflect how transfer fees shot up at various points, eg the Galactico period at RM, Abramovich, or when petro-state owners came in.

@TheRealJonbass Good pod Jon. You’re right to call out PGMOL reffing them lot differently, but I believe it’s not a conspiracy but an outcome of Arsenal’s strategy over several seasons to manipulate PGMOL. It should be called out, but also we have to get better at that ourselves.
