Well, everyone, all things #PitchDis have wrapped up from my end! The pitches have been deleted from the site, the software has been tweaked for next year, and I've replied to all messages that needed a reply.
Now I'm off to get some much needed rest.
Hi everyone,
I'm working on the wrap up today, but I wanted to mention something here too. Please take a look at something on the #PitchDis eligibility and guidelines page.

I try my best to connect as many authors with as many agents and editors as possible, and I always strive to make it fun and easy for everyone involved. But there's only so much I can do.
I just ask that you keep this in mind before getting upset at me or the event itself

I'm sorry if you didn't receive a request.
I'm sorry if you had a bad experience with a registered agent or editor.
I'm sorry if certain genres are selling better than others.
But I have no control over these things.

Hey all,
@DrewWMcDowell here,
It does not look like we will be doing any event this October, I apologize about the short notice.
We are exploring possibly doing an event a bit later and will keep everyone updated.
Good morning, everyone.
After I get some real life work done I'm going to start working on the stats you requested. Today will be the last day I'll take requests for them as I plan to have everything #PitchDis related wrapped up by Sunday.
Okay here are some final numbers!
-Eligible pitches - 696
-BVM pitches - 52
-Adult was the most popular category with over 50%
-Fantasy was the most popular genre with 27%
Now some housekeeping numbers...
