Can anyone on #horseX tell me why the word "own" is put in front of "son" and "daughter" all the time? To me, a son is a son, and a daughter is a daughter... The word "own" just seems unnecessary.

Someone called animal control once because we didn't have our cows in the barn when it got below zero. The sheriff's deputy that took the call was our vet's son. We had coffee and a good laugh.

Winfield is at a trappers convention 6 hours away from home by himself. He called me so he could hold his FLIP PHONE up to the band because they were good and he wanted me to hear them. I've teared up a few times today, but these ones were happy. My dad's a good one. 💗
