@HLTCO The song is definitely of its era. I'm sure it was written by the late comedian Hector Nicol in the 60s, he wrote one for my team (Dundee) that's still played at Dens. He wrote a Hibs and Dundee United song too.
@Rhutchison9 We already undervalue the most important commodity we need to live and most farmers don’t receive a fair return for their labours to produce it, the government wants to cap it when we spend as a percentage of income less on food than we ever have 🤦🏻♂️🤷
@alan_pattullo I remember going to a Scottish cup game in the early 90s there as 12 or 13 year old. I have a hazy memory of over exuberant dundee fans getting a skelp from the bankies keeper when we equalised. Davie Cooper was playing I think?
@Rhutchison9 I’d be interested to know how far down the line TD was with player recruitment knowing it was going to be a big rebuild again. Really difficult to blame SP yet, regardless of thoughts on him.
@SJH101259@Rhutchison9@smithy1893 Aye, their board behind the goal at the Shankly end kept catching my eye with all the bloody goals we conceded at it.
@Rhutchison9@1Mikeydfc My late grandfather took me, he wasn’t one for football but I really wanted to go and no body else could take me. The language he heard that day made sure it was the first and last game he ever took me to 🤣
