SB180, in addition to requiring trans people to use the bathrooms of their biological sex, also prevents trans women from accessing women’s rape crisis centers. It’s the most extreme anti-LGBTQ bill in the country.

North Carolina recently became the 40th state to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.

That means 600,000 North Carolinians are about to qualify for health coverage they can actually afford.

Many for the first time in their lives.

Happy 13th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act! One of the largest expansions of healthcare coverage in history, millions of Americans owe their lives to the ACA & the protections it provides.

More work needs to be done, but the ACA was a vital step towards #HealthcareForAll
