🎓 FROM OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY’S OVERALL BEST GRADUATING STUDENT TO THE NEXT CHAPTER. 🇳🇬

With immense gratitude to God, I’m happy to share that last week, I officially graduated from Osun State University with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, emerging as the Overall Best Graduating Student for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

My academic achievement was recognised at multiple levels:

🏆 Best Graduating Student, Department of Mechanical Engineering
🏆 Best Graduating Student, Faculty of Engineering
🏆 Best Graduating Student, College of Science, Engineering and Technology
🏆 Overall Best Graduating Student, Osun State University

It still feels a little surreal writing this.

Behind those titles are years of late nights, demanding deadlines, difficult moments, mistakes, self-doubt, small victories, and countless lessons. There were days when things did not go as planned, but I kept going.

And I certainly did not get here alone.

I’m deeply grateful to my family, lecturers, friends, mentors, classmates, and everyone who supported me, encouraged me, challenged me, prayed for me, or simply believed in me along the way. This achievement carries a piece of all of you.

Now, one chapter has come to an end, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence today, I’m stepping into this new chapter as a young Nigerian engineer with a simple ambition: to keep learning, solve meaningful problems, and contribute wherever my skills can make a difference.

At this stage, I’m particularly open to:

🔹 Research assistantships, research collaborations and technical projects

I’ve come to realise that sometimes, the next opportunity doesn’t come from having all the answers. Sometimes, it comes from meeting the right person who says:

“I know someone you should talk to.”

So, I’m putting myself out there.

A new graduate.
A young engineer.
Still learning.
Still growing.
And excited for what comes next.
