Tonight at 8pm ET - Windrose LIVE Episode 24
We head deep into the Cursed Swamp in search for resources to build the mighty FRIGATE! The crocs will certainly try and eat me again! https://t.co/hQdC04qQSi
I've not a God of War fan or player but I have to ask ... is the gelatinous cube thing part of the lore? Has it always been?
Everything I had seen about that series was that it was a gritty, unforgiving world. That cube doesn't seem to fit at all.
Romestead has had an impressive early access launch so far, selling over 250,000 copies in a week and keeping a very solid concurrent player count.
A great start for the small dev team (less than 10 I believe) at Beartwigs.
Reviews sit at Mostly Positive (75%) with the team working hard to address launch bugs. They've released over 10 hot fixes since the May 26th launch.
Congrats @RomesteadGame@beartwigs for a great launch. I'm excited to see where this one leads.
I'm 8 hours in and have only killed the first boss but I'll likely start a new save and stream it at some point in the near future. π
Found an easy way to trap the second boss in Windrose!
By building piers above him, you can cage him in and stay safe, mostly.
He can still kill you even tho he can't move a lot.

@blortzen IMO they did Peanut dirty with that design. It looks like some type of nightmare fuel mutant peanut.
If I were him, I wouldn't have rt'd it either.
@BestfriendKick If they were serious they'd hide ALL view counts across the site. When views don't matter, view botting becomes 100% pointless.
But they won't ... I wonder why.
My prediction: Players will slam the server so much so that no one can play. Negative reviews will spike as a result.
Getting a bunch of bad reviews because the game is unplayable is not a great incentive for Sony to keep throwing money at a 9 year old game.
"We need to at least smash Marathon's all time high to show them they made the wrong decision"
Destiny 2 players are planning a server slam for the game's final update to convince the Devs to make Destiny 3 and not abandon the franchise
I've got just over 6 hours into @RomesteadGame and so far it's pretty cool. It's doing really well on Steam as well.
The most apt description I've seen so far is that it's Stardew Valley + Core Keeper + 7 Days to Die.
Like this post if you want me to stream it.
Trying to create content on @rumblevideo@GamingOnRumble over the past month I've learned:
Uploaded videos pretty much get buried. Take this example video, 4K views on Youtube, 9 views on Rumble.
There is no discovery unless you post politics or already have a huge following. What's the point?
@StakeEddie As long as your default "Sort by" is still Viewers (High to Low), all you're doing is encouraging people to game the system.
People who hide their own counts will simply be invisible to the UX patterns you've defined as primary path for discovery.
@RayReynoldsNMS Sadly this is always a problem on the Expeditions. I have to turn off multiplayer most of the time to do some of the objectives which sucks for this expedition.
