@ProGolfCritic@livgolf_league@Cleeks_GolfClub You're just another LIV bot with no understanding of business, no understanding of history......and lack common sense. I'll circle back when the league folds and they can't find any investors who are looking to promote golf in Indonesia and are willing to lose billions to do so.
@ProGolfCritic Title sponsorship at the corporate level is simply a media buy. Large corporations have to buy ads....so it makes sense to invest in PGAT, NFL, NBA ,etc because the demographic is nearly a perfect match. Throw in hospitality access and it's a no-brainer.
@LouStagner Sponsorship investments are not predicated on "lock-step" agreement with all your partner's business opinions. NLU has a large golf audience that directly mirrors Titleist's. Whether they sell them traditional balls, or flight reduced balls, they are still selling balls.
@LouStagner I think he is correct. He is using championship caliber as term to describe a course worthy of a major. If we use -15 as reasonable limit on what the winning score should be for a major, many courses have obsoleted out of the rotation. Especially for The Open.
@ProGolfCritic LOL! Yes, that's why people and organizations invest in professional sports. Because they have altruistic reasons. (I can't believe you just wrote that. LOL!)
@ProGolfCritic Buyers don't invest in urgency or desperation....they invest in sound fundamentals and potential. You still haven't presented any evidence of what exactly investors will get. LIV has no significant revenue stream. So what exactly would they be buying?
