Welcome to "Pixelator".
The infection spread faster than anyone imagined. Cities fell, governments disappeared, and civilization became nothing more than a distant memory. What remains is a world ruled by the undead, where survival is measured one day at a time.

This is my hand.
This is a technique using the "spray" tool + ink (alpha compositing) + opacity, used to generate colorizations with a large number of shades and gradients.
@zjdelicious@LozaxPixel@TGT_KTofu@_TESTGANG_ In the phone-recorded video, you can see how I use this technique to create my gradients and color transitions. To me, it's actually quite fast, probably because I've been working this way for a long time.

@zjdelicious@LozaxPixel@TGT_KTofu@_TESTGANG_ After that, I use the Paint Bucket Tool to fill the selected areas with flat base colors. Once the foundations are in place, I move to the Spray Tool, configured with my own custom settings (Ink: Alpha Compositing, Opacity between 50% and 100%)
@zjdelicious@LozaxPixel@TGT_KTofu@_TESTGANG_ My spray technique is constantly combined with the Eyedropper Tool. I continuously sample nearby colors, creating subtle variations around the base tones. The opacity of the spray tool generates additional layers of color over color.
@zjdelicious@LozaxPixel@TGT_KTofu@_TESTGANG_ First of all, I work with a Gaomon graphics tablet and pen. My process starts with a simple black Pencil Tool, which I use to sketch the character and define the outlines. Then, by selecting different areas, I roughly block in shadow zones and secondary details.
@LozaxPixel@TGT_KTofu@zjdelicious@_TESTGANG_ I understand you, my friend, and I assure you that we love true pixel art too. I can show you all my tricks for creating those nuances.
Maybe I'll do some tutorials soon.
@LozaxPixel@_TESTGANG_ Pixel counters aren't reliable when you upload a compressed image, because what you see is the result of the generative process. Furthermore, the backgrounds are intentionally darker to make the character stand out, so they were modified with Photoshop. Thanks for your attention.
For those who appreciate detailed pixel art reminiscent of the unforgettable arcade era, the days of Neo Geo cabinets, and the atmosphere of classic 90s games, Pixelator aims to bring that feeling back.
