Had a mini heart attack when I woke up this morning! Who else is excited about WhatsApp Communities?
Hope this update hints at the possibility to have external plug-ins/Bots like on Slack in the future.

✨Community Tip✨: When running a big community, it’s hard to get to know everyone. Try reaching out to 1 community member a day with a personalized note (i.e. a thank you, congrats). Over time, this small daily habit will lead to hundreds of stronger ties with your members📧🥰💪
@erinmikail Make them realize exactly what amazing things they are currently doing that will lead them to achieve their personal goals.

Interesting article by @datkin. Oddly enough, our community is facing the opposite problem, we have many strong hyper-specific subgroups without a big "main hub" for all members to connect. Anyone else in the same situation?

The biggest stress when getting a job offer is Salary negotiation. Did I ask enough? Did I ask too much? What am I worth? All this spinning in your head esp when being in a niche (but growing) industry. Many employers don't even have a clear benchmark themselves.
@rosiesherry Forums have always been my #1 preference when engaging with communities. 1) Easy to navigate 2) Less overwhelming and doesn't feel like it's intruding my personal space.
A 🧵 on community flywheels
How do you stimulate meaningful activity in your community?
You need a vision. Strategies + tactics
But most importantly, you need momentum. That unstoppable energy that gets members excited, connected and engaged.
That's where flywheels come in.
Alrighty! Here is a free, public version of the spreadsheet I created for my team that maps out the full community career path.
It has every level that a community pro can reach with the related competencies, skills, and experience.
