Update on our elusive boy that was shot on Thursday. He’s just been caught 😍. What a relief! He’s in bad shape, wound, infected, weeping & stinky, but he’s ALIVE! @NZStuff @nzpolice say "ah it's just a cat" @NZGreens @TVNZ @nzherald @nzlabour - do something! It's not just a cat!

May 2019 - adopted by a family from Pixies. Today, a vile human lured him to their house & shot him at close range. #NZPolice - it's just a cat. Nothing can be done. Great winning team for animal welfare. Search continues for the injured boy, blood pouring from his leg. @NZStuff

We absolutely DO NOT promote breeding, of any kind.
But when a girl gets picked up with a belly full of babies, Pixies goes above and beyond to support, stands by to help raise, feed, provide shelter and warmth.
Kittens were born at the shelter last night.

This is the part of my passion I hate. Found dumped on a sidewalk. We got called around noon, rushed out. In severe pain, very neglected, abused. Rotten teeth, paws wrapped up in tape. When the vet tried to investigate, she nearly pulled the paws off. We just couldn’t save her.
