@MAGAks2089 @IanJaeger29@catturd2 And commute 2 hours each and every day, put in an 8 hour shift, when is there time for sleep and family? Not to mention the cost of gas. We live paycheck to paycheck as it is. I agree that MOST federa workers should work in an office, but there is a 1% that need exceptions.
@IanJaeger29@catturd2 My husband worked in DC, applied to work remotely, got approved, we moved to Iowa when our daughter got cancer, it's cheaper living, and safer. The closest office is 120 miles away.
@Hummingbird311@RoastM4ster9000@america We did apply for that, and they said the department that did those is the DEI department that no longer exists. His supervisor told him it could take 2 yrs to be approved.
@Hummingbird311@RoastM4ster9000@america My husband too is a Federal employee, a disabled veteran and works hard. We have 7 children, and one who is actively undergoing chemotherapy for Leukemia. His job is 100% digital. We are at least 4 hours from the closest Federal Building, forcing him in an office hurts us.
@pastornea@AspyLady@LeadingReport People die everyday, mostly from natural causes, but rarely do we mourn someone we don't know. But as far as dying from the protesting only Ashli Bobbit died.
Let's say you walk into a crowded room and 100% of the people in the room are sick. The chances of you coming out of the room sick are pretty significant, and nearly impossible- in fact it is impossible. There is not any way you can avoid the germs while in that room, it's everywhere, in the air, on the walls, everything you touch, and this sickness continues to grow with each and every person entering this room. And there really doesn't seem to be a way to stop all this sickness from spreading unless someone comes up with a cure. Everyone in this room will die from this sickness, some sooner than others, but all results are the same- death.
We have been born into a sick world, and its afflicted with sin. We cannot avoid it, we all have this affliction, and there isn't anything anyone can do to make themselves better. Some may appear "sicker" than others, but in all actuality, even just having a small percentage of sin results in the same conclusion- death. But that isn't the end, we are not all doomed. We have been given a cure, and only a few accept it. You may ask, well if there is a cure why doesn't everyone just take it? The answer is because not everyone believes the cure will work, there are skeptics, and conspiracy theorist, or people who say they aren't "that" sick, I can live with it or I can heal myself. There are some people who are so sick that they don't know any other way- change is hard. There are people who say they have a cure but it doesn't work, in the end, despite all the promises you will still die.
There is good news though, there is a cure and the cure is Jesus Christ. He offered up His untainted blood to cure those willing to take the cure and there isn't anything more we have to do other than believe. The end result of sin is death, but we have an opportunity for eternal life with the One who created us.
@DanielHayes9906@patrickwebb No they didn't deny it, but they denied expedited process of records, which they can of course take their time deleting or destroying incriminating evidence
