This is an incredible list of traits for quality animators. Most of it has nothing to do with drawing. Focusing on communication skills, organizational ability, and understanding different perspectives can make or break your career regardless of how much drawing skill you have.

I understand that networking is important, but the current lack of ability to get an entry level position on merit and skill really makes it impossible for anyone to get their foot in the door to make starting that connection process possible. Its so disheartening.
i don’t like how you need connections upon connections in order to even land a basic job in the animation industry. I like having animation friends but i do not like that my networking has to carry more weight than my art.
