Forget the Bollywood “Dhurandhar”: the real Dhurandhar operation apparently needed just a rented shop, a CCTV and a promise for "Bobs and Vagene".
A 20-year-old Indian man, Rachhpal Singh, has been arrested in Ludhiana for allegedly spying for Pakistan’s ISI by installing CCTV cameras and providing a 24/7 live feed of military movements.
According to reports, Singh rented a shop as a front and installed banned Chinese CCTV cameras that streamed footage directly to his alleged handlers.
The location was just 6 km from The Baddowal Cantonment, with military vehicles routinely passing right in front of the shop rented by Singh.
Baddowal Cantonment houses Indian Army’s 17 Field Ammunition Depot, a key storage and distribution facility for arms, weapons and ammunition for forces near India’s western front.
Singh was honey-trapped by an alleged ISI operative, who reportedly lured him with promise of sexual and romantic relations. He also received monthly rent of the shop through his handlers.
