So, #NeZha2 , was f**king awesome. Great animation, good voice work, excellent storytelling, cool actions, art direction, music, very emotional, funny, and well developed characters. It's easily one of the best foreign movies I've seen in a while. It's definitely worth the watch.
I went back and rewatched the 1987 version of Masters of the Universe. It's still a terrible movie in the end, but it's an enjoyable hot mess. I will say this, Frank Langella as Skeletor is the best thing about this movie with some decent make-up effects. The rest not so much.
I don't think Dolph Lundgen was a bad pick for He-Man, but there was barely material to work with from script and how the film's low budget didn't help either. Plus, the lack of the source material that made IP special is absent here.
